Can I buy my hire machine at the end of the hire period?

No you can't, however you can purchase a new machine with a discount available off the new price. Please contact us for further information.

How long will my machine take to arrive?

We dispatch machines Wednesday-Friday. Once your order has been received, we will dispatch your machine. North Island deliveries please allow 4-6 working days. South Island deliveries please allow 5-7 working days.(Please note that your dispatch day doesn’t count as the first day)

Will my machine be delivered on a Saturday?

No, your machine won’t be delivered on Saturdays as our freight company delivers Monday-Friday only. Individual delivery can be arranged dependent on location. Please contact us for further information.

Can I pick my machine up?

Yes, by arrangement only. If you want to collect your machine, please call us so we can ensure your machine is ready for collection and to arrange a collection time.

What are my options for payment?

You have a choice of payment periods, weekly, fortnightly or monthly. These payments can be paid via our payments partner, Debit Success.

Is a bond required for the rental equipment?

Yes, a refundable bond of $250 is required for any of the rental equipment. Please see the rental T & Cs for further details. 

How big is the machine? Will it fit in my car?

If you are collecting a machine, we recommend a station wagon or SUV to pick up the machine. Generally, if you have a medium-sized car with seats that fold down you will be okay.

What happens on return if I don’t have the box that it arrived in?

If your machine arrives in a box you need to keep your box. If it has been thrown away you will be required to pay for a replacement box and the freight to get it to you.

How do I return my erg at the end of the hire contract?

Please re-box your machine in the original packaging that it arrived in (where applicable). Once the machine is ready to go please contact us to arrange freight and collect your machine. All payments will stop from the day that you book your machine in for pick up or at the end of the contract term. Whichever date is first.

I returned my machine but realised that I had already paid to rent an erg after it was returned, can I get this refunded?

Yes, as long as you are outside your contract dates, we will refund the days that you no longer had the machine for but had paid for.

What happens if I don’t pay my rental payments?

If you fall behind on your payment for any reason, Debit Success will get in touch with you to notify you. If they are unable to get a hold of you three consecutive times, your contract will be sent to debt collectors and the rental unit will be recovered with associated costs charged.
